Compaq Northern Ireland (part of the new HP) SHOW their generosity...
Compaq Northern Ireland (part of the new HP) have been generous enough to donate a Compaq iPaq Pocket PC H3850 to East Antrim as top prize in their forthcoming ballot.
The unit boasts a colour screen and 64mb of RAM... a powerful beast, no doubt. It also comes with a stylish protective case.
Club Stalwart, Brian Reid, negotiated the deal with Compaq and Jim Strange, Club Chairman, was quick to acknowledge Brian's efforts:
"I'd like to thank Brian for helping to broker this deal and also Compaq NI for their generosity. The response FROM the private sector has been fantastic. We now have a very presitigous prize to offer and I have no doubt that the ballot-ticket buying public will respond appropriately."
Ballot tickets will be on-sale within the next few weeks. In the meantime, the Compaq iPaq will be kept under lock and key!
