They say that all good things must come to an end and, religious thinking apart, there is no such thing as forever. It is unreasonable to expect that things can last forever and East Antrim Hockey Club is one of those things.
The dwindling number of active members has meant that the Club is unable to field a team this season. But that doesn’t necessarily mean that the Club should be consigned to the history books. The hope is that this is a temporary blip and that sufficient playing members can be recruited over the next 9 months to ensure that East Antrim Hockey Club once again graces the Ulster pitches during the 2010/2011 season.
Proposals for growing the Club membership will be posted here as and when they have been formulated.
This is not the end. This is merely a new beginning!
