Hats off to Stephen & Jim on the Centenary Book. I am sure that all of the club wiil echo the praise for what has been a tremendous effort over quite some time so that we can all have a literary reminder of this special time in East Antrim's history.
Haven't had time to read all of it just yet but after a quick glance it is apparent that this is quite simply a must have for any East Antrim player, both past & present.
The book launch went very well, however, as 2nd eleven captain I was very dissappointed at the turnout FROM regular 2nd eleven players. Only three attended the event. I appreciate that we all have other committments and lead busy lives, but quite frankly there should have been a much greater presence FROM the 2nd Eleven.
There is one last chance to put this right. The Centenary Dinner is next Saturday (19th Oct) and I would fully expect that all players will be attending this event. This is trully a notable time in the history of the club and in years to come you will reflect with great affection this event. You never know I might even buy you a drink.
