The Irish Internet Awards for 2001 - the Spider Awards - held a black tie Awards Ceremoney at the RDS. East Antrim Hockey Club's site was shortlisted for an award, but unfortunately... the "Golden Spider" was awarded to www.belfast.net.
Nobody FROM www.belfast.net turned up to collect their award, which is no surprise bearing in mind that their site seems to be wildly out-of-date (Bocoose and Antica Roma have not operated in Belfast for a number of years now!)
We at East Antrim are not bitter, though... honestly, we aren't... well maybe a wee bit
