Scientists were intrigued today by the discovery that Glengormley man Stephen Swann has so little shame that it has to be measured in negative figures. "Mr Swann actually has a shame rating of -3.6" said Dr Smith-Klyne, "This is the first time we have seen someone with a shame level below zero".
It seems that Mr Swann’s shame level first dropped below zero on Saturday night when he posted a match report on a public website claiming he had scored the greatest goal ever seen. In a sinister non twist he also left his trademark calling card by naming himself as ‘man of the match’ for the 3rd time in as many games.
However Dr Smith-Klyne and his partner Prof Beecham are not yet finished. "We suspect that there may be two others in the area with negative shame" said Prof Beecham, "but we haven't found them yet. Unfortunately our instruments only go down to -5".
