East Antrim Hockey Club are seeking to fill the position of 1st XI coach for the 2003-2004 season.
The successful candidate will have had prior experience of coaching a 1st XI team and will have had experience of playing to an equivalent level at least.
The position's responsibilities will include the development of those players that make up the 1st XI squad, the development of the team as a whole, input to the team selection process and the handling of team affairs on match day. The coach will also be expected to report directly to the Club's Executive Committee as and when requested. Ultimately, though, the coach will be expected to drive the 1st XI to success in accordance with the Club's development plan.
The current training schedule is just 1 hour each Monday night, though this is under review. Equipment needs have been catered for, but anything overlooked can be discussed before the season begins.
