Exactly 100 years after the first ever meeting of the Club, the present incumbents of the positions of power met to discuss Club affairs once again.
Attendees of the significant event were : Alan Burgess; Eddie Baird; David Caldwell; Graeme Cooke; Graeme Reid; Stuart Campbell; Jim Strange; Neal Hermon; Michael Jackson; Stephen Swann
Committee Notes In Brief...
The Chairman, Jim Strange, opened the meeting by thanking Neal Hermon for his efforts in organising the tour.
The committee decided that Friday night matches will no longer be played at Ballysillan due to the worsening behaviour of the locals. The search continues for suitable accommodation for Saturday afternoons as well.
Stuart Campbell agreed to take ownership of the Christmas ballot (with a little help FROM Graeme Reid).
Alan Burgess confirmed that a first aid class will be run during October.
Stephen Swann presented a set of accounts which, although they look incredibly healthy, hide the fact that too many players still flout the Club rules when it comes to Subs, Shirt purchase and match fees!
Stuart Campbell expressed concern for the lack of recognition for those players who had given exemplary service to the Club over the course of at least 25 years.
