Well done to Stephen & co for Saturday's events. It cant have been easy organising such an event and everything seemed to be very well organised and planned.
Personally I felt honoured and very proud to be involved in the morning training session and the game in the aternoon.
Paul's coaching was top class and straight to the point and will be of great benefit to the 1sts and the rest of the club.
Sorry folks, but to be honest I was a little dissappointed at the turnout for the club coaching session. Players I felt could and possibly should have been there were noticeable by their absence. This was a rare opportunity, to be coached by a former international, which I am surprised was not grasped by many more club members young and not so young.
However lets not let this cloud over what was such a good day for the club, it's members, their friends and families.
Lets just make sure the turnout at the next "ex-international" coaching session is supported by all club members. If I can crawl out of bed at 8.30am to go training surely everyone else can.
