Gareth has returned to "East" in 2002 after playing rugby with Academy for 3 seasons. This break from hockey has obviously been stressful as can been seen from the lack of hair (which is why he still has a younger pic of him as above).
Having lost none of the speed or skill of an elephant he continues to push around attackers when within biting distance.
Gareth is also fortunate to have a b-e-a-utiful wife, Liz, and together have 3 offspring (Robert, Melissa & Erin).
