Brian joined East Antrim in 1970 at the tender age of 16 and scored on his debut which was considered bad form by the rest of that vintage team.
He played for East Antrim for a period of almost 30 years until a change of job with significant mid-week travelling prompted him to join his local team - Bangor.
He returned to his roots for the Centenary year which was also to be his retirement season.
