A founder member of the club who captained the 1st XI for 6 years - a record to this day. He became President of East Antrim, the Ulster Branch and the Irish Hockey Union.
Andy Burney presented a trophy to the Ulster Branch to be competed for by the Ulster Schools. The Burney Schools Cup is still played for to this day.
