What can I say? For a game that saw the team spend 75% of the game in the NICS half and innumerable short corners and crosses into the D it only goes to prove that, once again we cannot do the sensible thing and give the ball to the person with the best chance of scoring at the time they need it.

It started on a fairly high note with Neil scoring in the first quarter. However no matter how much ball we had converting it into goals seemed impossible.

Service pulled the score back to evens after 25 minutes and that was the way it was at half time.

Five minutes into the second half a class flick by Swanny was deftly caught by a defender, unfortunately the resulting Flick by Neil left a lot to be desired.

Once again the lack of ability to put the ball in the net from good possession and allowing Service through after 25 minutes to go one up was inexcusable.

Despite concerted pressure for the last 10 minutes East were unable to make a draw out of it.

I really do not have a man of the match so I will nominate myself for staying to the end!!
