Unbelievable... one of those nights when everything fell into place. Who could've imagined that George Armstrong would score a hat-trick for the 1st XI. And what about Nathaniel Bane?

The opposition was poor - a fact reflected in the fact that Swann (with dodgy knee) still managed to score his first competitive goal for over 10 years!!!

Rab Gibson showed that his goalscoring exploits were not limited to 2nd XI hockey.
