By Alan Wright A wet and windy day at the Valley asaw the ’stiffs’ play some of their best hockey of the season in a match which should have seen them win convincingly but instead produced a sigh of relied as Service squandered the easiest of chances to steal two points at the end. East dominated the first half with chances falling to Glass, Hamilton and McStea, but good goalkeeping and poor finishing kept the game level. The second half was more even to begin with and some solid tackling from Long was required. A point for the ’stiffs’ but it could have been two... ... ... ... or none!
