We the 3rds unbeaten in a month things looked good heading in to the match last Saturday. We started out the better of the two sides with a chance just after the start all it needed was someone on the back post to knock it in. But unfortunately no one was there.

Service were lucky when a shot deflected of the keepers inside leg and in off the post. They soon dispatched another one just before half time.

The second half we had the majority of chances but with bad boy Phil Irwin off the pitch for most off the match we just didnt have the support for the forwards.

The result does not reflect the pattern of the game with East having the majority of play. But service centre back Paul Moore had a stormer taking the ball off any one who came at him.

With the top two teams now pulling away East will have to get a few more good results in before Christmas and narrow the gap!
