A 4-1 win should put smiles on the faces of every member of the winning team, however... The 2nds turned in their worst team performance for 2 months today and the manner of the victory was disappointing. The movement, skill and energy levels were all below par, but hopefully that is it out of our system now.

Willie Young put Larne in front after a basic error in defence, but Murphy scored from a penalty corner, Nicholl had a tap in shortly after and Young made it 3 just after the half-time break.

East Antrim, however, tended to get in each other's way when attempting to hammer home their obvious advantage until Nicholl drove one into the roof of the net with the final touch of the game.

There were, however, some rays of light as Hutton was in top form and Tumilson was a rock again.
