A match against the defending champions turned into disappointment as the green machine dominated, yet still failed to win the match.

An exquisite lob from Riddell senior was followed by an equaliser. However, Riddell junior scored at the "third" attempt to put East's noses in front.

A soft goal was conceded, however, after slack marking. Still, 4 goals for the onlooking crowd was something to cheer.
