A hotly contested derby match ended with the Green Machine having been embarassed by a 4 goal blitz inside 6 minutes.

Having taken the lead and Mossley's forward line looking quite inept, it all went horribly wrong as the East Antrim team capitulated.

And what was the difference between the two teams? Brains... Mossley seemed much more aware of their surroundings than the green boys; Mossley were able to use the empty spaces to good effect; Mossley were able to move the ball around without giving away possession cheaply.

The 2nds have great potential. Youthful exuberance married with the cool heads of some older players. However, the young lads are the ones that can turn the team from potentials to winners. A little bit of awareness, common sense, simple passing in conjunction with their battling ability and fitness will reap rewards.

A mindset leap... that's all it will take.
