Another thriller from East and Armagh.

East went two nil up in the first half through Scott Hamilton and Eddie Baird who was unselflishly supplied by Neil Johnson. We were defending confidently and attacking brilliantly, 2-0 up at hlf time and looking good.

Armagh gained an early goal in the second half but East quickly regained their two goal advantage.

After that it was all Armagh. They attacked continually and got their reward of three goals in a devestating 15 minute spell. 4-3 down after being 2-0 up. A complete disaster. But it was not through lack of effort. Armagh took their chances well and nothing would go right for us in the second half.

Armagh have came from behind 3 times against us in the last three meetings. We must learn how to defend leads when we get them.

We missed Paul Reid and Stephen Nicholl greatly but Andrew Bell, Andrew Blair and Aaron Young were superb in midfield. Surely the youngest midfield in our league.
